07/03/2013 by MLB 7 Comments

13,760 FeetAs I prepare my memoir 13,760 Feet–-MyPersonal Hole in the Sky for publication, Chapter 1 appears as “My Aluminum Parachute” in Airways magazine in the August 2013 issue. Here is the 15-minute audio version of that article that is also my memoir’s first chapter. The story is read-by-author and infused with the first of 34 companion songs. Your feedback is welcome.

well done Mark – lovely memoir – I was very moved

You have the talent and aeronautical expertise to explain the technology as only a pilot can and the gift of being able to share the human element so eloquently

    thank you

I’ve read (and listened to) your first chapter, and I really, really enjoyed it.
I found myself totally captivated by your words, and it made me feel like reading more.
The sounds are an awesome addition to the story, and make it even more vivid.
    Congrats and thanks for sharing.
