DentalPic1new600Lyrics: Recognition for My Dental Technician

(v1)
I went to the dentist
And saw the hygienist
The dental apprentice
With serious skills

(v2)
But before she would see me
I had to agree
To my medical history
And pay all my bills

Well I guess that’s kind of important
You don’t want to, like, not pay your bills
Of course, you go in and try to get a little service done
And they might look at you a funny
The thing is that I don’t want to be on the wrong side of medical treatment
Here’s my credit card
Do as you must

(v3)
I said quite jokingly
There’s a splinter inside of me
You know, one of life’s minor ills
And could she set me free

DentalPic2new600(chorus)
She made a prick
I admit I was somewhat nervous
With a dental pick
That thing looks some kind of sharp
And pulled out the splinter
And much to my surprise
I got to tell you
Just like magic

(v4)
She claimed her first aid
Wasn’t trained but homemade
She’s a mother by trade
Learned by raising three girls
(v5)
Oh, by the way
My teeth are OK
She found no decay
In the X-ray stills

CTS from FAWM
Musician Craig Suiter (CTS)

(Outro)
Her quick reaction
To my splinter condition
Was it’s still an extraction
And part of her mission
She cured my distraction
So I give recognition
And my total satisfaction
To my dental technician
